Here is an example of what to expect! Click link HERE!
We are so excited to have the amazing Christian Lagasse joining us for an on-camera dance workshop! To those who were lucky enough to join Christian in our workshops this summer, this workshop is going to be a fast paced environment, simulating the experience of a working dancer on a film/tv production (and in our city, we are lucky to have had many incredible productions over the past decade: Disney’s descendants, rise of the pink ladies, Zoey’s extraordinary playlist, Julie and the phantoms, and Riverdale, to name just a few).
In this workshop, dancers will have the opportunity to learn the audition process, learn an original piece of film choreography from industry veteran Christian Lagasse, after which they will immediately step into the creation process for a pre-visualization (or pre-viz for short). This is a recorded material that is presented to directors, producers, and creative team members on a production to allow them to see what the finalized product will look like.
The ability to experience & learn the skills it takes to work on-camera as a dancer in the film/television industry is a a rare opportunity for any dancer, especially at a young age. We are beyond grateful that Christian is taking the time out of his busy schedule (as he’s currently working on Nickelodeon’s latest series) to work with our Happening team, and give them the insights from his over 25 year career working as a dancer, actor, choreographer, and more!
Don't wait and join this incredible workshop, limited spots available!

FAQs
-
A: No! With your dancer’s experience, they need an open attitude, and the ability to work hard. We are confident that they will pick up on choreography, even if it’s outside their “normal” training.
-
A: VERY. Your dancer will need to see the level of expectation placed on the Showcase dancer, and the pace at which they pick-up choreography.
-
A: 100% yes. You dancer will have peers in their class and will quickly make friends, even if they do not sign-up with a friend, we can guarantee it.
